Pietie Eelses-1712
A wonderful early sampler from the province of Friesland. It features some motifs worked in blocks of satin stitches which were used on the colars and cuffs of clothing as well as bed linens. A cart being pulled by a horse is featured as are household implements, a sewing cushion and
a winged heart. Conservation mounted.
